PPAPP Agency Provides Another Nine Complaint Posts for Violence Against Women and Children

Jakarta Children Empowerment, Protection and Population Handling (PPAPP) Agency launched another nine complaint posts for Violence Against Women and Children this year.

The posts are located at RPTRAs spread in five administration areas and Seribu Island. It means there are already 44 complaint posts spread in every sub-districts in Jakarta.
Based on the data of Jakarta PPAPP Technical Implementer Unit, there were 2,041 cases of violence against women and children in 2024. The number is higher compared to previous year by 1,682 cases.

"The effort aims to improve the service through Jakarta Children and Women Protection Center," Miftah said, Tuesday (2/25).
Miftah added that services provide on the complaint post are complaint reception services, legal assistance, psychological assistance, and outreach provided by competent officers.
"It is run not only to explore the violence experienced by the victim, but also to identify hopes and needs of the victims. Right service is given based on the identification," he added.
As for information, two previous complaint posts were moved to new complaint posts. Those are ROTRA Madusela, Sawah Besar that was moved to RPTRA Jaya Molek, Tanah Tinggi, Johar Baru and RPTRA Rusunawa Pulogebang that was moved to RPTRA Jaka Berseri, Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogadung.

- RPTRA Rawajaya, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit
- RPTRA Garuda, Cilangkap, Cipayung
Seribu Island
- RPTRA TIdung Ceria, Tidung Island, Seribu Selatan Island
